Emerging Color Stamping Technique

Ok, I'll admit it...I really love stamping and the more I stamp the more I want to stamp. It's a wonderfully vicious circle. Emerging Color is one of those techniques that have some very basic and constant elements to it, but the creative license is all yours in how you present it. I'm sure if you Google or YouTube you will find a ton of tutorials and a lot of them will be very similar. Emerging Color boils down to this one word: resist. This is at its very core a resist technique. The whole trick to doing this is to remember that you will work in layers.

Petaloo - CHA

Petaloo introduced some beautiful and exciting new products at this past CHA.  A few of the newest products include chipboard and Vintage Dazzlers!

This layout is featuring all new Petaloo product.  I am a HUGE fan of all of the flowers in the Darjeeling line.  They have the most wonderful colors and feel to them.  Did you know that all of the Darjeeling line is made of recycled products?  How cool is that?!  I love it when a company makes choices that help to sustain and protect our environment.  Congratulations Petaloo!!!

Check out that little tag!  This little beauty is a Vintage Dazzler.  Petaloo has an entire line of these all with different images.  They are embossed and some of the features are dimensional and pop off the card.  The images are vintage, rich and gorgeous with glittery accents.   All of the images were created from 100 year old designs.  Doesn't get more vintage than that!  These are the perfect size for layout accents, ATCs, tags, and cards.  Very versatile.

These are from the new Darjeeling line and are a part of the Shabby Beige collection.  These flowers are so creamy and soft.  Also, can you see those beautiful blue glass leaves?  Petaloo now has a whole line of stick pins!

Everything you see here is all new product.  The leaves, the fronds, check out the mini cattails!!!!  Oh, and those little flowers are a mooost have.  Too cute.  All of these items are from the Darjeeling Shabby Beige collection, even those dimensional butterflies that have to be seen in real like to appreciate.  They have beautiful detail and glittery accents.

I love those cattails!  I think what I love the most about the new "Naturals" line is that they fit their name.  Everything feels very natural, and the colors are so soft and beautiful.

Here is a card I made with a Vintage Dazzler.  What this picture doesn't show you is that the bird is dimensional.  These are a fabulous addition to your cards.

This picture gives you a better idea of the color and detail in the Dazzlers.

When I saw these roses I had to rip open the bag and touch them.  I LOVE the puffy painted tips! Isn't it cute!  Also, can you see those little green leaves?  They are glass! ooohhhh, aaahhhh LOL  Seriously, they are precious....and, they come with glass bead flowers! *scream*

Wait until you see the colors that are going to be released in this new Darjeeling line.  How does Seaside sound?  Or, Pistachio, or Cottage Blue, or Red Raspberry, or Nightfall???  I could keep going.  Each of these lines comes with coordinating stick pins that have jewel and metal bead accents.  Oh, and wait until you see the chipboard pieces that will be coming your way!  Heaven!!!!  These items should be available sometime this month.  Bug your favorite store to get you some!  You won't be disappointed.

I hope you've enjoyed hanging out with me a bit.  Thanks a TON for stopping by!!!

XO, Lisa
