Emerging Color Stamping Technique

Ok, I'll admit it...I really love stamping and the more I stamp the more I want to stamp. It's a wonderfully vicious circle. Emerging Color is one of those techniques that have some very basic and constant elements to it, but the creative license is all yours in how you present it. I'm sure if you Google or YouTube you will find a ton of tutorials and a lot of them will be very similar. Emerging Color boils down to this one word: resist. This is at its very core a resist technique. The whole trick to doing this is to remember that you will work in layers.

This is my favorite page with this kit.  This is a pic of my DD's bestie.  I added some molding paste and had fun with the bling that came in the kit.  I took the wide, rhinestone bling and cut it down into strips, then I shaped the strips into flower petals and water drops.

I used a few of the gelatos that came in the tech kit to add some color inside the petals and to add some color to my molding paste.

I really had some fun with this page.  I created a starburst with some of the other patterned paper from the kit.  Then I used some gelato from the tech kit, paint and a regular ink pen to doodle on my page.

I said this already, but I really had fun with this kit.  The paper and the colors allowed me to just kind of go a little bit abstract with my design.

I used small pieces of the ribbon that came in the kit to add splashes or color and added paint and gesso to the paper, bling and a bit on my flowers.

This is the monthly sketch page.  I struggled with this for some reason.

Thank you so much for hopping with us today!!

I'd think "I love that page" and then on to the next page and I'd think "I love that page more" and it kept getting harder to decide which was my favorite. Great job using all the parts of the kit.
I guess the starburst ends up as my favorite.

I don't know why or how you struggled with the sketch layout - it was amazing. And what you did with the bling to make the petals, crazy good.
