Emerging Color Stamping Technique

Ok, I'll admit it...I really love stamping and the more I stamp the more I want to stamp. It's a wonderfully vicious circle. Emerging Color is one of those techniques that have some very basic and constant elements to it, but the creative license is all yours in how you present it. I'm sure if you Google or YouTube you will find a ton of tutorials and a lot of them will be very similar. Emerging Color boils down to this one word: resist. This is at its very core a resist technique. The whole trick to doing this is to remember that you will work in layers.

Lisa, I'm LOVING your class! I'm so excited to start using Molding Paste, but that's just a start - next up my Clearsnap stocking, gesso and I've picked up the Compendium. Im 2012 the sky's the limit!

Hey, Lisa!!!! Resolution #1 is actually to go through all of my accumulated projects and actually finish them. Seriously. No help, right? Well, yes it is!!!!
I would love for someone to do a class or series of classes on mini albums 101. This would not be about making an album from start to finish per se, but about different kinds of things that can be done with tags and fold-ins and all of that stuff to create pages that will hold a number of photos.

Hi Lisa,

I'm enjoying your class. There's so much I would love to try. I have been so conservative with my projects, but the Swirly Sister have inspired me to try new techniques. Now that I have viewed your class, you have given me the courage to try molding paste. I would like to try more distressing techniques and stitching. The list is actually longer, but I'm taking baby steps.

I plan on really learning how to use photoshop. I really need to be able to edit my own pictures. Maybe you could do a photoshop class.

I really love your class Lisa. I've ordered the damask stencil and am waiting impatiently for it to arrive! Can't wait to give the molding paste a try.

As far as ideas, I have to echo Peggy and Kim. I love mini-albums, just get a little intimidated wondering how to finish up with all the little pockets and tabs etc. And photoshop - yes, yes, yes. Would love to know how to do more with my pictures.

Wow - those are terrific giveaways! I have always loved school, but I can only imagine how much more I would have loved it had I been able to take only the courses I REALLY LOVED! In 2012, I am going to try to make more fancy fold cards. I always feel that my handmade cards need to be more interesting, more beautiful, more celebratory than any you find in a store. cherylwingetataoldotcom

Lisa:Hi! I am in awe of your talent. I "found" you as a new 201 subscriber to Miss Art's. I decided in 2012 I was going to actually order kits and work along with the videos. I have ordered and rec'd the kit for your class and I am fulfilling my promise to myself and do just that!! It is a blast! I want my scrapbooks to be more than just pixs, paper, journaling. I want my kids & grandkids to look at them and be inspired to create their own works of art. Thanks for sharing your talent!
