I decided to sacrifice the large daisy Petaloo flowers by separating all of the petals and aranging them so that they looked something like crows feathers forming a wing coming off of her shoe. I topped it off with a Petaloo bloom and added that cute little skull as a center.

DAY 1... Coredinations, May Arts, & Petaloo Inspiration Week!!
Hey everyone there is a really fun blog hop going on RIGHT NOW!!! Petaloo, May Arts and Coredinations have come together for some fabulously inspiring projects. All of the DTs were provided products from all 3 companies and then we got to play!!!!
There are lots of chances to win prizes so click HERE and play along. Good luck!!!
I want to welcome you to my Haunted Wood!! I got the distinct
privaledge of working with yummy card stock from Coredinations and some
more lucious ribbons and trims from May Arts; throw those into a
cauldron with Petaloo and I've got one awesome recipe a-brewin'!
I used a stencil and a stylus to create worn and distressed fleur d'lis
on the Coredinations die cut I created. I matted it with a larger die
cut and then distressed the edges. I LOVE that gorgeous deep purple
satin ribbon from May Arts. It adds such a beautiful elegance to my
layers of black.
I adore Petaloo's Color Me Crazy line. I decided to take some of the
lime green blooms and dip them in UTEE for my flower centers.
Ever see the Broadway show Wicked? I took my DD to it last year and we
both never wanted it to end. I adore Elphaba and created this shoe with
her in mind. I dry embossed the black card stock from Coredinations
with a whimsical swirly spiral. I am a sucker for chiffon, and that
wide orange ribbon from May Arts fits that bill. It made the prettiest,
big and fluffy bow befitting of Elphaba.
I decided to sacrifice the large daisy Petaloo flowers by separating all of the petals and aranging them so that they looked something like crows feathers forming a wing coming off of her shoe. I topped it off with a Petaloo bloom and added that cute little skull as a center.
My final project is this card. I used one of my all-time favorite ATC
images; that beautiful witch. Isn't she elegant? I used some more
Petaloo Blooms and embossed them with Ranger's Bridal Embossing Tinsel.
I love the grey hue that it cast over the lime green blooms. Perfecto!
I decided to use a thin green ribbon from May Arts and create a ruffle
around the circle with the number 31 on it. I love the way it turned
out.
I layered it all over some distressed and peeled Coredinations black
cardstock. I hope you'll come back tomorrow and see some more jaw
dropping projects from my other team members.
